Evonik’s PEEK Polymers Website Relaunched
In the first relaunch of the webpages for its VESTAKEEP® high temperature polymer, Essen, Germany-based Evonik Industries has greatly expanded the website. "We attach great importance to a partnership with our customers that also affords them a glance into some of our technical information," says Dirk Heinrich, global director Marketing & Sales VESTAKEEP®, describing the aim of the website. "Over the last two years we’ve accumulated extensive experience in PEEK polymers, which we're now also making available to our customers on our website www.vestakeep.com."
The user can find details of all product grades, from base polymers to specialty compounds, and, in the Markets section, specific information on applications and the products suitable in each case. The Processes section treats each individual production process in detail and is supplemented by the literature provided in the download area. Many of the methods described are possible only through a complex technical service, which is also described. "In this way we ensure that our solutions are ready for the market," says Heinrich, describing the strategy of Evonik, which has been producing high-performance polymers for 40 years. "And for further questions or contacting, there is, of course, a simple contact link, with the choice of a global contact or contacts for the American, Asia-Pacific, or European markets."
Evonik has been successfully producing and marketing high-performance polymers for more than 40 years, and is highly regarded in the market for its experience in technical service. The company's expertise in injection molding, extrusion, press sintering, and CAE (computer aided engineering) analysis has been successfully applied to the VESTAKEEP® molding compounds, introduced into the product portfolio in 2007, and made available to Evonik’s recently gained development partners. The collaboration is designed on the basis of a long-term partnership, which also allows for fairly long accreditation periods.
