1,5,10-Trimethyl Cyclododecatriene (TMCDT)

Sesquiterpene 1,5,10-trimethyl cyclododecatriene (TMCDT) is a triply methylated derivative of the C12 ring cyclododecatriene.

At room temperature, TMCDT is a colorless liquid with a characteristic odor similar to that of terpene and with a boiling point of 263,5°C.

Trimethyl-Cyclododecatrien (TMCDT)

1,5-dimethyl-1,5-cyclooctadiene (DMCOD),
1,4-dimethyl-4-vinyl-1-cyclohexene (DMVCH)

The C8-ring derivative dimethyl cyclooctadiene (DMCOD) is available as a mixture of the two isomers 1,5-dimethyl-1,5-cyclooctadiene and 1,6-dimethyl-1,5-cyclooctadiene in the approximate ratio of 80:20. It is a colorless liquid with a terpene-like odor.

We offer the diterpene 1,4-dimethyl-4-vinyl-1-cyclohexene (DMVCH) as pure substance. It is a fruity-smelling liquid with a boiling point of 70°C (44 hPa).

These compounds are all terpenes, a class of compounds that offers many ways to produce synthetic derivatives. They are suitable starting materials for the synthesis of various flavor chemicals in the fragrance industry, for example.
