Toothbrushes

You should do it at least twice a day, and preferably after every meal. Don’t forget to replace your toothbrush regularly either—round about all two months—your dentist recommends. And if you want to get the most of your toothbrush, you should use one with bristles made from polyamide 612 VESTAMID® D—we recommend.

  • VESTAMID® D has sufficiently high resilience that the bristles retain their shape.
  • The compounds are easily processed to give bristles of varying quality, from soft to hard, for children as well as adults.
  • They allow a variety of dimensional modifications and are easily colored.
  • Fillers such as sodium fluoride in children's toothbrushes and antimicrobial additives can be incorporated into the material.
  • And it goes without saying that VESTAMID® D compounds for toothbrush bristles satisfy the requirements for substances coming into contact with oral mucous membranes (Directive 2002/72/EC and FDA regulations).
