Laser marking is becoming increasingly important because of its speed, flexibility, and precision, but mainly because it is permanent and cannot be counterfeited. Product labeling, whether of quality- or production-related information, and whether in cursive writing or as data code, is achieved with extremely high reliability. Mistakes and forgeries are virtually impossible.

We offer a range of VESTODUR®, VESTAMID®, TROGAMID® and VESTORAN® compounds optimized with a patented additive for laser inscription at 1064 nm. A color change from light to dark, or vice versa, is also possible.

• Computer keyboards made of laser-markable VESTODUR® compounds retain the sharp contours of their lettering, even after millions of keystrokes.
• High contrast and contour sharpness are essential for secure transfer of the encoded information in bar codes or data matrix codes.
• Laser marking is also possible in colored products, with good color constancy.
• The patented additive allows a high staining depth, but only a small foaming height, so that the inscribed characters are more resistant to abrasion than in other systems.
• Compounds and markings feature high chemical resistance and light stability.
